More than 150 domestic and international companies participated, presenting their innovative products and services across various fields, including online hotel and ticket booking platforms, smart travel guide apps, augmented reality (AR) solutions for attractions, and data management tools for analyzing traveler behavior.
A highlight of this event was the introduction of new apps featuring AI-powered destination recommendations tailored to user preferences, multilingual audio guides, and intelligent support systems that drew considerable attention from visitors.
Goals of the Smart Travel Exhibition
According to the exhibition’s executive secretary, the primary goal was to connect the tourism industry with new technologies, support Iranian startups and knowledge-based companies, and develop platforms for exporting digital tourism services to global markets. The exhibition also offered a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience through B2B sessions and collaborations among tourism industry professionals.
